DescriptionWhat was intended to be woven as the most basic combination of alternating a 'Moon' connector with a doubled Moon connector, turned out as being basically a 'locked Pacman' - a variant having the Box/Byz 'wings' locked inside the Moon cells. I wanted to call this one 'Apollo', but found it to be the already existing weave One and a Half Persian. The image shows this weave executed in 1.6*8mm BA rings with a final AR of 5.35 for upper both, and 1.6*9mm BA with an AR of 6.0 for the lower sample. This additional higher-AR sample is shown, as the weave tends to lie flat 'on edge' if not under tension, especially if woven with higher ARs. Near the lower AR limit of around 5.0 this behavior is not so pronounced.
