DescriptionMy second piece of Maille aside from bracelets and the few pieces I made to learn how to do it, made simultaneously while making the Coif for my father. I created this headdress for my mother for christmas. The band around the head is Euro 6in1. the strands connecting to the top piece are Half Persian 4in1 while the top piece is a little flower pattern I stumbled on. the chains in the back are dense byzantines (all rings doubbled) Everything except the byzantines are 18 guage 5/16" galvanized steel or copper. the byzantines are 20 guage 3/16" non-descript wire I picked up at AC Moore. The little flower thing on top has both 18 guage 3/16" and 5/16" galvanized steel Weave(s) Used (Click to View Weave)Byzantine, European 6 in 1, Half Persian 4 in 1Images Tags (Click to Search Gallery)Tag(s): Copper, Galvanized Steel, Headdress, JewelleryWeave(s): Byzantine, European 6 in 1, Half Persian 4 in 1 |
