| It would seem those are the two that we're shooting for... Anyway care for a vote? If so, I will create one. |

| Yes, let's vote. Unless there's more discussion needed? |

Well, I remember making the suggestion of W.A.I.L. as Wire Artisans International League, so I would say you are remembering it correctly.
W.A.I.L. was pretty much a purely silly suggestion. Just a direct conversion from Maille to Wire, with no concern over the final acronym being wire related, just that it was also a word.
W.I.R.E. with "I" as "International" was still trying for a more direct relation to M.A.I.L., but probably isn't really neccesary.
I would say W.I.R.E. would be the better choice using "Information" for the "I" as it is going to be a Repository and Exchange of Wireworking Information.

Some other "R"s
Humorous;
Rambunctious, Recalcitrant, Recidivist, Redoubtable...
More serious;
Rapport; a relationship, one of mutual trust and harmony...
Reciprocal; experienced, done and felt by both parties...
Not to make this more difficult or complicated....just a few other "R"s.
