Here's the thread where we can talk about a title for the proposed magazine. The current proposed titles are:
- Maille
- MAIL
- MAIL Magazine
- Chainmaille
- ChainMAIL (subscript Maille Artisans Int. League)
- Woven Armor
- Knight's Weave
- Maille for All
- Wirecraft of the Middle Ages
- Double, Double, Coil and Trouble
- You've Got Maille (or just Got Maille)
- Chainmaille Whatever
- Maille Art
- Millenium Maille
Add to this list if you have more ideas, naturally.

Perhaps: Behind the Maille
Ok, so maybe not one of my better ideas.
Obviously my vote goes for Millenium Maille.
I've been doing a lot of abstract painting lately, extremely abstract. No brush, no paint, no canvas. I just think about it. |

Millenium Maille does have a nice ring to it (heh, no pun intended). As I mentioned in the original thread, my one concern about "You've Got Maille" is that there is already a chainmaille business with that name, so that is a consideration.

I kinda like the 5th one down from the top - ChainMAIL. I didn't even know there was a thread about a magazine...

how about ChainMAILle (subscript Maille Artisans Int. League)
then it would be spelled correctly and MAIL would be in it which i think is important.

As I said in the other thread, keep it simple and descriptive. Look in the racks next time you go to the store and you will see that MOST hobby mags have simple names like Quilting, Bead and Button, Woodworking, etc.. If "cute" worked they would probably use it but people want to see what the mag is about from the title.
My favorites are
#1 Maille
#2 Chainmaille
#3 Maille Art |

I'm hesitant to use M.A.I.L. in the title, because this magazine is for chainmaille in general. Although the discussion/preparation is taking place here on Maille Artisans, people from other boards may want to contribute as well. This is meant to be chainmaille's magazine, not MAIL's magazine.
Again, I agree that it should be simple, such as the ones that Cliffordparker has proposed. If we did go for Millenium Maille -- and I do sort of like the sound of that one -- it may be good to downplay the "Millenium" part. So, on the first page, "Maille" would be the big banner title, but "Millenium" would be above it in smaller script.

| Given Armored Drake's last comment, I'd go for "Got Maille?" before said comment I would have said "MAIL Magazine" but I think "Maille Magazine" is an easy enough adaptation that I would endorse as well. |
