this (inlay=I) would fit in the 9 rows. Maybe a little simple for you but should look nice. |

Nah, the simpler the better! I'll give this a shot, see how it goes

it looks like a couple more rings in the center want to be dark, also.. it's difficult to make out the shape. coming along nicely, however!

Also, the line on the left != the line on the right.
The one on the right is good, because it makes a five-ring column, whereas with the one on the left, the two rings that lay in -> direction could stand to be shifted over one position to the left, OR, two of the three rings (top and bottom) laying in <- direction could be shifted over one position to the right and the other removed. The former would provide better symmetry.

use smaller rings, you'll get a higher definition. then, switch to the larger ring once the inlay is complete.

Exactly!
This is the theory that makes high-definition TV's...
More scanlines.
Or printing in higher resolution.
More dpi.
Or...
You get the point

I continue to try harder!
Added four rings in the middle, because I agreed that there didn't seem to be much there. Also added two rings to each of the ends with an extra silver line.

The rings are a bit large. But your closures are EXCELLENT!

which direction will the bracelet be running? left/right or up/down?
my initail response is that the left/right arms end in 2 rings, where the up/down end in 3.. this throws off the symmetry to my eye a little..
it looks good for having a low resolution.
i'm not trying to make you go rework anything. i'm probably too hypercritical of my own work.. nothing i make is ever good enough. ultimately, if you (and your customer) are happy, you won the game.

Thank you very much. ^.^ I try my best with all of my projects. And unfortunately, these are about as small of rings as I have. At least, in black.

As the above picture is, the bracelet will run left/right. And please, any and all suggestions and criticisms help me out. There is a reason why I added those rings you mentioned, but it's a little hard to explain in text.
If I were to replace those rings on each side with silver rather than black, there would be a silver hole on one arm, on this side of the sheet itself, and if you flipped it over, the other arm would have a silver fill as well. So it make up for it, I filled in both sides.
Hope that made sense to you, I know it made little sense to me.

| I liked the one without the four black links. It had a cool negative space thing going on. |
