The mods can move this as I may have put it the wrong spot.
That being said . . .
I have a limited budget and am wondering what are some favorite single-ring weaves people have?? |

I may second djgm - in fact I prefer single-ringsize weaves over multisize ones. So it's surely not astonishing, that I am an Euro/Persian friend, and less so for Japanese weaves. But I tend to chose proper, often adjusted ARs for my beloved ones, nevertheless.

A single link will be worth nothing.
A chain is of use, but will break at the weakest link.
A weak weave will have the need to replace weak links.
A strong weave will survive even with weak links included.

Truthfully, I have seen very few weaves that use a single ring...
But if you are talking about using only one ring size I would agree with ZiLi and djgm my favorite being Half Persian 3 in 1, Barrel, Half Persian 4 in 1 and European 4 in 1.

HI...I'm brand new here, and this seems a good thread to start with.
My fav is the Byzantine. Also seems to be a favorite with folks I sell to (charity raising functions and friends and family) 2 color combos seems to be the favorite. |

I'll chip in.
Half Persian 4 in 1
Captive Inverted Round
Half Persian 3 Sheet 6 in 1
Also, since this thread very well may attract a lot of newer members, I've gone through and edited all the weave people have suggested so far, to use the [weave=Name] BBCode, for easy linking.
I'm awesome like that.

| I use Byzantine and Half Persian 4 in 1 quite frequently. I have recently developed a love for Jens Pind Linkage (or JPL) but I wouldn't recommend it for someone just starting out. As an afterthought, I really like Mystique as well. It's a very simple modification of Euro 4 in 1 that I think turns out very pretty. |

Big fan of box chain over here. Turkish Round is a cool single ring size weave too.

| I'm a big fan of full Persian, especially in the smaller ring diameter sizes. |

This is not a trick question. Think about if you only had one size of ring to work with and no resources to spare to buy or make more sizes. But the urge to do something is driving you nutzoid, what weave would you pick? |
