Well, my family finally got a new puppy! Meet Grady, our almost 3 month old pure-bred Chinook puppy.
And he's going to get big!! He'll be about 70 lbs. when full grown .

Human societies are like chain mail.
A single link will be worth nothing.
A chain is of use, but will break at the weakest link.
A weak weave will have the need to replace weak links.
A strong weave will survive even with weak links included.

I think the third picture is your answer lorraine.
He is a beautiful puppy. I see him in a good maille set of bat wings for Hallwoeen.

He's going to be a handful to walk! He's only a puppy, but he already has a good pull. His breed were bred as sled dogs. Lol, good thing our last dog was a Siberian husky.
Nope, not a rock although, he loves to chew on rocks also. We brought him to church last Sunday to socialize him around other people (particularly kids) and he tried to run away with one of the rocks from the flower bed. What he's chewing on is a deer skull my dad found somewhere on the floor of his barn (my dad does a lot of wood and antler art).
Haven't made any chainmaille dog accessories yet. Might make something for his collar though (not sure the rest of my family would allow me to make a full chainmaille collar for him).

Ive done maille collars before. The problem is there not really functional as an all day and all week kinda collar. If you take it off of them every time they come in it shouldnt be a problem, but if your like me and leave your dogs collar on constantly the weight and spaces of the rings will begin to remove the poor things fur. Good to hear your new addition is doing well, albeit with a rock obsession
