No, I sent him a PM to say there were quite a few articles in the queue but I don't think it's been read.
I would happily deal with them as long as it wouldn't be stepping on toes.

Hey guys there are now 10 articles waiting and I've had a few PMs asking what's the hold up. If there are no objections I'm going to start dealing with them. I did this when Drax was on holiday last year and he didn't seem to mind too much.

Sounds good.
In light of Legba not ending up having to run the entire site herself, plan of action on this? Recruit new? Reassign duties? |

Maybe Drax needs an assistant?
But I mean... You're going to have to ask for a bloody essay or something from the volunteers... How else can we check their grasp of the english language? |

haha I don't think that's very likely but as far as the articles I don't mind stepping in till Drax is back (or an assistant is found).
LOL Deamon is right though!

Hrm???
Nvm... I re-read it multiple times over the past few days and got it...
Any thoughts on this folks? Do we need another articles admin to help Drax out, or for when he vanishes periodically?
I say yes, but that's me... Ulterior motive: I need the cues cleaned out before I can start to actually toy with the code for them...
I can't afford to nuke anyones submissions that are pending approval... That would just be mean. |

I think an assistant would be good for all times. I don't think it would hurt anything.

Phong also volunteered in that thread in the MAIL Help forum...
I shouldn't think we need more than one?

In the past, stepping on toes may have been an issue(I don't really think so though, really), but I, realistically, don't have any real work to do besides an occasional link, and then just mod'ing about....so I'm offering to work through some the queue. Might be better to get some of us current lazy dog admins contributing a bit more.
I took a look, seems to be some pretty simple editing work to approve a few at least.

The only thing I have difficulty with is adding links to articles, otherwise, like Kodiak says, it's all pretty straightforward proof reading. The only reason I haven't done any of it yet is because I have two shows to get ready for. Once they are out of the way I'll have more time to help.
