They do look similar, but honestly, the pictures and descriptions don't give me enough to even be sure I could recreate them, much less tell if they were the same...

If I'm reading the descriptions and spin these pictures in my head, they appear similar, but not entirely the same...
The Hilt Chain looks to be viewable as FP 6-1 from all four sides. Essentially 4 interlocked HP 3-1 chains... (Sharing rings, obviously.)
Wheras Half Persian 3 in 1 Column is described as 'rather like three strands of 3/4 persian connected around on another'.
While I've never made 3/4 Persian, I'm fairly sure these aren't the same... I don't know, my two cents... |

OK I'll post a link to this thread in the other discussion about it so that members can see why we are leaving them.

The description in the HP3-1 Column submission is very confusing. I don't think I've seen the Euro Column weave he refers to. Calling it 'three strands of 3/4 Persian stitched together' doesn't match at all with the picture. If they meant three strands of HP3-1, then it matches with the picture, and is the same as Hilt Chain.
From what I can piece together from the pictures I think they're the same weave, but the description in the Column submission is very odd.

Hrm. Isn't that the same picture, and wasn't the old one updated with new name variants already? I wonder why the newer one is still there....

So what do I do about these, delete (because they are the same with the same pic) the newer or the older?
