I have read Bative's article about the ratios needed for adding half persian trim to european 4in1.
However, I am kind of a newbie mailler and I'm kinda stuck on the regular add-to-end way of creating the persian chain; I don't have sufficient understanding to be able to figure out the "sideways" construction method that would be used to turn the end-rings of e4in1 cloth into persian.
If anyone could write an instructional article (or at least an instructional post) on how to do that - particularly with persian 4-in-1 because that's my favorite weave - I'd be forever grateful. And it would be a nice addition to the pre-existing article.
Many thanks!

I found you can do it the other way. Make a HP chain first, and then stitch on a ribbon of e4-in-1.
Peace.
