Edit: This thread is out of date, please read: http://www.mailleartisans.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=17570
Due to some major hijinx going on in the Articles DB... (Damn those Database Gnomes!) I've had to take the ability to Submit/Edit Articles Offline for the forseeable future.
I was planning to upgrade the Article DB to 3.0 soon anyway, so I will kill two birds with one stone, and do that as well...
Unfortunately, as these things often happen, it's not the best time for me to spend a ton of time staring at code... The christmas season at work is NUTS, and I'm looking down the barrel at a week spent in a hotel room instead of at home, working 16 hours a day... UGH
Long story short, Articles will be back up and fully functional as soon as possible... Please stay tuned for further announcements.
See: http://www.mailleartisans.org/board/viewtopic.php?p=217067#217067 for a bit more detail.

Plenty of Update...
In the process of this, I had to rewrite a good portion of the BBCode the site uses, since several people use Tables in their articles.
Also, a lot of older users rely REALLY heavily on HTML that I need to parse, or the submissions will look like arse...
Sooner, rather than later

I also would like to post a tutorial, I am easily distracted, and very busy these days. So it is disappointing I can't just do it up when I am motivated, and have it in the forefront of my mind.

Hey Grace,
If you'd really like to post one, for now the best thing to do is to create a thread in Articles, and just put it there.
I recommend tagging the start of the subject [Article] and I'll make sure it doesn't get lost.
This is being actively worked on, but there's a lot of older articles that are causing some major hiccups... Making automated-porting problematic/impossible.
Basically, a lot of this is being done by hand one article at a time.
Sorry about the wait

I trust it is complicated. I am not development savvy at all, I have a very minimal understanding. My husband is a front end Drupal developer for a living, and at one point I attempted to try and work with Drupal, my self, when he got a full collection of free lullabot tutorial disks for Drupal 6 at a Drupal camp. But it was so foreign to me, including the terms used, that it quickly became very frustrating, and I was not motivated enough to continue.
I will pop in at a later date and hopefully the system will be back up and ready. I just had a Special request from some one this week for better instructions, and thought I could just do it up while I was thinking about it, but I guess it is not meant to be.

hey grace!
you could post them in this forum as a thread, for now. later, the submission would be as easy as copypasta.

I'm not old! And I *am* sorry about that...
