After nearly 10 years of searching for pieces online, commisioned tailoring work, and my own chainmail contributions, I finally assembled my entire armour set as I have always wanted it, there are a lot of pictures so I am just going to link the page:

Very, very nice.
If you don't mind me asking, what are you going to do with it? Is it something to just wear, or do you do any specific style of fighting? |

Very inspiring - especially Knight21 and Knight22.

Human societies are like chain mail.
A single link will be worth nothing.
A chain is of use, but will break at the weakest link.
A weak weave will have the need to replace weak links.
A strong weave will survive even with weak links included.

| I like #22 especially, but wish he'd crop the photo to eliminate the "filmaking for dummies" book, the rest is fairly true to the period. With the possible exception of the UPC code... Great painting/tapestry background. |

I apologize for not responding quickly to these posts, I have been working on a very big project and have only just now looked at anything chainmail on the web in 2 months.
@Dinwar
I will wear it periodically at events; Renfairs, Halloween, and most importantly for anyone who will be at Atlanta's DragonCon in 2012. I will be there with my newer masterpiece which I hope to complete and post here in about 3 weeks.
@Zili
Thanks!
@Jax25
Indeed, my cup is empty. Also my friend who was taking pictures was really bad at it... so I was more angry at him
@Rognvald Yeah, I wasn't about to rearrange my bookcase for the picture. That is my favorite painting, "Meeting on the Turret Stairs" by Frederick Burton |
